This business began with a simple truth: home is where I needed to be to raise my family, and creating businesses around the things I love has always been part of who I am. As a former print shop owner, I developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, quality, and the stories that connect people to what they cherish most.

The idea for UsedAlbums.com grew out of my son's passion for vinyl records. He started collecting in 2015 when he also began learning to play guitar, and he quickly became fascinated by every aspect of the hobby. What started with a growing love of music and a handful of favorite albums soon turned into years of searching for better pressings, alternate releases, special editions, promotional copies, and dozens of variations of the same record found throughout the marketplace. From first pressings and reissues to limited editions and rare releases, he became immersed in the details that make record collecting such a rewarding pursuit.

Like many dedicated collectors, he eventually accumulated multiple copies and versions of albums he loved. Along the way, he developed an impressive knowledge of grading, pressings, matrix numbers, sleeve variations, record care, and music history. After watching his collection continue to grow, I finally suggested that it might be time to start selling some of those albums and help other collectors find the records they were searching for. What started as a conversation became the foundation for UsedAlbums.com.
